We start this week off with a brief editorial on the strong arm tactics of Disney Entertainment which resulted in us having to edit out scenes from a recent Disney trailer. Then we move on to discuss the new VR experience Avengers: Damage Control, we'll take a look at a new promotion that will pay participants $1,000 to binge watch Disney movies and take a look at a heart warming experience by Captain Marvel herself Brie Larson at a recent convention. In entertainment news Martin Scorsese is once again attacking a movie genre that has proven immensely more successful than his own preferred niche of movie styles and JJ Abrams looks to offer some hope to Star Wars fans that Rian Johnson didn't put the final nail in the Star Wars franchise coffin with some encouraging news. In our Insightful Picks of the Week both Michelle and Joe go a bit outside their normal comfort zones with a couple of very unique and interesting picks, making this another great podcast this week.

Hatred and intolerance is the root of discrimination and all of the negative effects it has on us and how it holds society back. We'll also look at what we as individuals can to do overcome discrimination, stand strong and celebrate the unity of our diversity.

This week Disney in the news for a lawsuit alleging discrimination by an autistic man for their current queuing policy for disabled guests. After a rich year at the box office for Disney in 2019 we'll take a look at the bleak outlook for the mega-company in the 2020 box office year. Then we'll pay tribute to Disneyland's customer number 1 from it's opening day back in 1955. Encouraging entertainment news indicates the screenwriter of the latest edition to the Star Wars movie franchise will settle the question of "Who is Rey". Stranger Things is renewed for a fourth season and it's creators Matt and Ross duffer sign a very lucrative multi-year contract to continue producing content. And finally we look at details just emerging on the much anticipated Billy Joel anthology TV series before we wrap up with our insightful picks of the week.

Disney to offer a vegan friendly menu at all of its dining locations in the parks while they sort out the overall lack of interest they're facing with Star Wars Galaxy's edge. Then we'll look at some of the desperate moves Disney is making to compensate for drop in park admissions, including further eroding the guest experience by axing popular street performances in it's Orlando Parks. All while Disney throwing Disney US Parks Chief Catherine Powell under the bus for the failures of the entire company, including the over paid Disney CEO Bob Iger. In entertainment news Disney decides 25% is better than 0% in their partnership with Sony over Spider-man, renewing that deal. We'll also look at the abysmal ratings for another year in a row for the Emmys but we'll end on a high note celebrating the 70th birthday of The Boss Bruce Springsteen.
