Disney is forced to reluctantly furlough non-essential employees in the wake of the continued shutdown of operations due to COVID-19, but they are still covering their health insurance and Disney execs are taking one for the team as well. At the same time Disney is expanding their landholdings around Disney World in Florida and donating masks and ponchos to health care workers on the frontline of the Coronavirus crisis.
In Star Wars Insights we'll take a look at a change in writers for the forthcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series set for debut on Disney Plus sometime in the near future. And we say a tearful goodbye to Actor and dialect coach Andre Jack whom fans will recognize him as General Ematt from Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi as well as other Star Wars movies.
In Entertainment News we'll talk about HBO making over 30 movies and shows available free of charge to help you get through your COVID-19 isolation. And Fran Drescher and the original case of The Nanny will reunite for a Virtual Table read of the original pilot 1992 pilot episode of the show for those stuck at home with nothing to do.

Sadly Madison's biological grandparents are no longer with us. However, she was fortunate enough to acquire an adoptive set of fantastic grandparents thanks to our extended family.
Joining us for this special episode is Madison's adopted grandmother "G-Ma" to share some of her memories and experiences with us. She's been a part of Madison's life since she was born and has shared numerous fantastic memories with us already. This is Madison's chance to get to know a little bit more about her adopted grandmother in this touching and humorous episode.

Disney announces it's keeping it's parks close indefinitely during the Coronovirus outbreak, but continuing to pay it's park workers. In a sea of disturbing news we get a nice feel good story as Disney's Animal Kingdom welcomes a new as yet to be named Zebra foal to the park.
Details start to emerge on Season 2 of The Mandalorian as folks in the UK can finally stream the new Star Wars series with the debut of Disney's streaming service in that country. We have some rumors and details of the Rogue One Prequel slated for Disney+. And Mark Hamill celebrates the anniversary of his first day of shooting a New Hope.
In Entertainment news Patrick Stewart shares a special message and a treat from CBS All Access. Doctor Who celebrates it's 15 year anniversary return to network television. And current Doctor Who Jody Whittaker shares an in character message of hope and encouragement for everyone trying to get through the COVID-19 situation.

This week we take time out of a regular podcast schedule to pay tribute to a family member we lost. Last week our beloved cat Dorian encountered some medical issues. After a dire prognosis from the vet we made the difficult decision to put her down rather than to have her suffer. It was a difficult decision but one that was in her best interest.
This week we celebrate the life of Dorian by reminiscing about some of our fondest memories of her. How she adopted us shortly after we moved into the neighborhood. We'll reflect on all the love and joy that she brought into our lives and some of the more colorful memories we have of her. It's a podcast of remembrance and healing to help us get through our time of grief. We invite you all to share in our experiences and enjoy some of the wonderful stories we had about our wonderful member of the family.

Then we'll give you some ways to pass the time at home with some virtual rides of Disney's popular parks. We'll look at Abigail Disney's reaction to masses of people flocking to Disney parks before their closure to combat the virus. And Disney releases Onward for digital download early to help the folks at home get through these troubled times.
In Star Wars Insights we take a look at the revival of a much beloved character moving from animation to real live action in the upcoming season of The Mandalorian and who has been picked to play the role.
Entertainment news highlights what TV's fictional hospitals are doing to help combat the spread of the virus. We've also got an update on the copyright suit against Katy Perry and Universal Pictures gets into the spirit of giving as it drops some of their content for early on demand streaming for home viewers.

It's hard to talk about anything at this point in time without talking about Coronavirus. So we take time out of our regularly scheduled shows to discuss this worldwide event. We talk about what COVID-19 is, how it's transmitted and how to avoid getting it. We'll talk about proper hygiene, what the symptoms are and what warning signs to look for before seeking medical attention. We'll take a look at a different aspect as well.
We'll look at the direct impact that it's having on our kids, family and friends. We'll discuss the changes we're all trying adapt to in these difficult times and how we are coping with the challenges imposed on us with social distancing and other radical approaches to stopping the spread of the disease. We hope that our experience under these unusual circumstances might help others to cope with the challenges as well.

This week we can't avoid talking about the COVID-19 pandemic. The impact it is having across all industries and around the world has had a significant impact on the entertainment industry. From the shuttering of shows on Broadway, to Disney closing down their parks to various television shows currently in production around the world shutting down and sending their cast home the impact is huge.
We also take a look at a few ways to get your entertainment fix even with so much shut down and with so many people facing some degree of isolation due to the pandemic. The current emergency is scary and far reaching, but we will see this through and come out of it stronger and hopefully somewhat entertained during the process.
